The Claim Management is one of the financial based system will be used to create a work list for the collector’s base on days, age and outstanding balance amount. It will also be used to generate a subordinate work list base on the “root cause” of the claim. The CMS application consists of two major modules. The first module will maintain the claim line age detail. This “claim detail” information will update once amount and will remain static until the next update. This is a automatic update from SAP to the SQL database using RFC method.
The second module will maintain the historical view of “root cause” per claim. The update will occur automatically from user on a schedule basis; this can be as frequently as every 5 minutes or every 1-hour.

Product-Based Configuration Management (PBCM) offers a complete integration with QTS via the work package model. A work package represents a complete and cohesive set of software changes that can build, packaged and delivered as a single unit. The version control mechanism underlying PBCM is ClearCase. Many of the details of functionality such as work space management, version selection, concurrent checkouts, change set promotion, etc. are managed by PBCM and a thorough understanding of ClearCase by the developer is not required. PBCM is currently being enhanced to better integrate with an IDE such as Visual Studio .NET.
