1985-1987 Military Department State of Louisiana Jackson Barracks
Facility Maintenance Superintendent.
I supervised and coordinated restoration and repairs of office buildings and residential housing at The Jackson Barracks facility. To include carpentry, roofing, sheet metal, plumbing, painting, automotive shops and job site crews.                                                                                
1983-1985 Martin Marrietta, Aero Space, New Orleans, Louisiana Worked as a millwright/machine repairer plant wide for the fabrication and assembly of the space shuttle, external tank system. I erected tool stands and assembled machinery. Repaired pumps, motors, gear reducers, drives, pulleys, and gear boxes.                                                  
1973-1983 Domino Sugar Refinery, Arabi, Louisiana Started as a laborer sweeping and hand loading rail box cars. I progressed from shipping, to processing, packaging, machine operator, machine mechanic, and the to first class maintenance mechanic.                                                      
1979-2004 Military Experience: Louisiana Army National Guard I enlisted in the Louisiana National Guard and served as a Military Policeman till the end of my first enlistment was up. I reenlisted again into the 141 Field Artillery as a systems mechanic on the 155 Howitzer. I then transferred to the 204 th ASG as the Food Service Sergeant. From there I transferred to the 3673 th Maintenance Company till I retired in 2004. From 1989 to 2004 I held the   following positions, evacuation and recovery section sergeant, allied  trade section sergeant, Platoon sergeant, Dining facility manager, and Company First Sergeant. My two most precious awards are The Legion of Merit, from hurricane Andrew, and The Bronze Star from Desert Storm.
