· Responsible for the design and implementation of a complete company payroll systems overhaul. The integration of twenty seven separate satellite company payroll systems (previously reliant on traditional and disparate manual processes); into one centrally coordinated modern and streamlined electronic web based system using SQL.
· Responsible for the monitoring and guidance of subsidiary companies payroll functions to ensure accuracy and legal compliance within all aspects of payroll related tasks.

2002- 2007 Cost-U-Less, Inc., Bellevue, WA. Payroll & Benefits Manager
- Manage all the daily operational aspects in the Payroll and Benefits and Human Resources Department for 650 employees in five US locations, five foreign countries and 2 US foreign territories.
- Responsible for depositing and filing all bi-weekly, quarterly and annual payroll taxes for Fiji, American Samoa, Virgin Islands, and Guam. Monitor deposits and tax filings for the Dutch foreign countries. Work closely with Assistant Controller for cash requirements.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with reporting requirements for the Internal Revenue, Social Security Administration, Department of Labor & Industries, Employment Security and all foreign agencies.
- Responsible for processing and distributing all employee annual statements for foreign countries.
- COBRA & FMLA administration and tracking.

- Responsible for all payroll operations and Benefit Administration for 500+ employees in 20 states.
- Coordinate payroll policies and procedures with HR and Accounting departments, and with department heads.
- Manage the benefits package and COBRA packages ensuring new and former employees are properly notified.
- Perform banking functions including notifying the bank of voids and stop payments and reviewing notices from the bank regarding the inability to direct deposit to employee accounts.
