2006-Now (2010) Private practice psychotherapy : Provide specialized treatment for clients with panic disorder, bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety. Specializing in treatment of trauma victims. Providing biofeedback to enhance treatment strategies and outcomes for clients with anxiety, depression, traumatic brain injury, Asperber's, migraine, pain, ADHD, etc. Marketing, contract development, business management, budgeting, research, outcome measures, quality assurance are included practice management tasks.

2005-2009 Bear River Mental Health. Psychotherapist working with the severely persistently mentally ill. Providing assessments, treatment, crisis intervention and outreach wrap around services in coordination with case managers and treatment team members to enhance ability of clients to access resources and obtain a quality of life although chronically ill.

2001-2004 Centro de la Familia de Utah. Director of Humanitarian Services . Provided oversight, budgeting, grantsmanship, programming and administration of Latino social services in urban and rural Utah. Conducted teams of social workers in implementation of crisis intervention, psychotherapy, education and family programs in Mt Pleasant, Moroni, Providence, Honeyville and Salt Lake City. Started the Humanitarian Services Dept with zero budget and moved it to nearly a million dollars funded through grantsmanship processes. Collaborated as part of the executive administration to enhance and improve all programs, budgets, funding and monitoring. Provided services to over 2000 clients in 2004 in all programs.

1980-Sept. 2001   McKay-Dee Hospital. Clinical social worker in various departments as follows:
1996 to 2001  Women & Children's Dept . McKay-Dee Hospital Liaison to Public Health Service Prenatal Clinic, (1996-1997) Midtown Community Health Center Prenatal clinics. Dee Elementary School Based Health Center  PROJECT COORDINATOR-COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Provide clinical psychosocial assessments and intervention to mainly Spanish speaking women with the goal of preventing high risk pregnancy. Domestic violence, child abuse, severe poverty and access to medical care are primary issues requiring problem solving strategies, interventions and follow up. Therapy is provided for multiple clinical problems including depression, anxiety, abuse, abandonment and trauma. (Most direct practice work is done in Spanish). Similar interventions were provided at Dee School Based Health Center.

1994 to 1996  IHC Home Care, Ut. Social Worker . Provide in-home assessments, design strategies for problem resolution, implement interventions and complete follow up to assure quality outcomes. Provide case consultation to case managers. Provide brief therapy to staff for stress, anxiety and trauma related to difficult cases and vicarious traumatization such as death of patients.

1980 to 1994 McKay-Dee Hospital. Utah. Medical-Surgical-Oncology Social Worker . Implemented psychosocial problem solving and psychotherapy to improve adjustment and coping of patients and their families. Conducted comprehensive discharge planning case management to assure continuity of care and transfer to the appropriate levels of care. Was designated the Spanish speaking social worker. Acted as Assistant Director with responsibility to administer the multifaceted department of Social Management of staff and staffing, team building, conflict resolution, problem solving, budgeting, program planning design and implementation, quality assurance, productivity measures and interface with multiple other departments and processes within the system and within the community.

1981-1984   McKay-Dee Hospital, Utah. Psychiatric Crisis Worker. Conducted psychiatric evaluations of acutely ill patients in the emergency department, determining suicidal risk, need for hospitalization, and/or referral to supportive outpatient programs and community resource agencies .

1986-1994  Social Work Departmental Computerization Consultant.   Obtained leading edge hardware and software to facilitate the computerization of the social work process of outcomes and productivity measures, quality assurance and acuity. Provided database management. Continued this at Home Care 1994 to 1997.

1992-1995 & 2006-2009 Private psychotherapy and training practice: Trauma Relief Training and Therapy Center. Focus on relieving depression, anxiety, phobias and traumas using multiple modalities including the brief and cognitive therapies, energy /mind-body approaches.
