OBJECTIVE: Seeking a full-time position to use my experience in the management and supervision of commercial infrastructure development. 

EXPERIENCE:

Triple Five Nevada Development Las Vegas, Nevada, Project Manager of Land Development 03/01/ 2000 to 12/31/2008

I oversee the development of projects up to 200 acres of commercial properties. Review civil engineering prints; prepare budgets and construction schedules for all projects. Responsible for the project bid negotiations and awarding of those bids. Responsible for securing all proper permits and paperwork before construction can begin. Oversee all aspect of field construction including the design and installation of the storm drains, sewer, fire water systems, domestic water, natural gas, underground power, phone, cable TV, and fiber optics. Manage the schedules and budgets to ensure jobs are completed on time and on or under budget. Make recommendations or changes based on the soils reports and field conditions. Visit the construction site to see that subcontractor is on schedule and following the blueprints to meet the necessary building codes and make adjustments as deemed necessary. Schedule and review all third party inspections. Meet with the Federal, State, City, and County Inspectors to ensure all aspects of the construction sites passes their building codes. Keep daily job journals, documenting the proper information for the project. Hold job safety meetings and inspection to insure a safe instillation or repair. Implementing Environmental controls. I am the certified job competent person. Inspect all excavations for the proper use of benching and shoring practices. Approve the completion of work preformed by the sub contractors involved. Perform the job final inspections to receive a certificate of completion from the appropriate municipality.

Superintendent of Infrastructure, 1997 to 2000. Field superintendent. My responsibilities were to oversee and support the above job description as defined by the project manager.

Tejas Underground Las Vegas, Nevada – 1993 to 1997. Forman; I performed field installation of dry utilities on commercial sites consisting of power, phone, cable TV, and fiber optics. Installed all wet utilities consisting of storm drain, sewer, water, and natural gas. Prioritized and scheduled a crew of 3 to 25 men. Oversee the proper operation of excavation equipment and operated backhoes and loader as required.
