EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology August 2009
Southern Polytechnic State University, Marietta, GA
Associate of Applied Technology in Programming March 2003
Dekalb Technical College, Dekalb, GA
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Microcontroller Based Traffic Light System
Designed and programmed a microcontroller that controlled a traffic signal at a four way intersection and rail crossing based on elapsed time, number of cars queued, and train presence.
Biometric Finger Reader
Designed to recognize a member’s fingerprint and grant them entry access. This system consisted of RAM, ROM, Input/Output interfaces, keypad, LCD and microcontroller. It had a functioning RAM memory, ADC, address decoder, and data bus. With these components functioning, the project could read and write information from the microcontroller and display the information on the LCD.
Compressor
Designed using a LM13700 amplifier connecting a non-inverting amplifier with mid-band close loop gain and an active full-wave rectifier to be utilized in the side chain of the compressor. Also, an Active Peak Detector was designed feeding the LM3915 LED display to indicate the compressor output voltage.
