1.) 2008 (Jan) –

MPUSD Stone Soup Child Care Programs

Designation: Latchkey Assistant

I work at the school site with a Supervisor and 3 other co-workers. I am assigned a group of 10 – 13 kids, and as their Group Leader I am responsible of taking care of the kids after their regular school hours. I spend about an hour outdoor in the play ground with the kids, helping them with their homework after they have taken their snack. Then follow by about 15 – 20 minutes outdoor activities. After that, we will go inside the classroom to do some reading and art & crafts, to help them with their reading skills as well as to explore their creative potential. We will play some indoor games for a more relaxing and fun session, until their parents come to pick them up.

2.) 2006 (Dec 1st) – 2007 (Oct 19)

Designation: Part-time Aide

 


 

I assisted in taking care of the babies/toddlers/preschool kids to make sure they are well-fed, in good care & go to school accordingly. Sometimes, I also helped out in preparing lunch for the kids and their pre-school activities. I made sure the kids were in good condition and reported accordingly to my supervisor about anything unusual such as : the kid had running nose/did not feel like eating/drinking, when there was an accident, etc.

The above-said reputable property developments firm in Penang employed me with the designation of Senior Marketing Executive. I was assigned with the primary task to co-ordinate and manage all aspects and functions of marketing the properties concerned as well as the corresponding sales administration duties that follow thereupon. I assumed a pivotal role in the formulation of marketing plans and sales strategies entailing the corporate business plan of my organization. Likewise, I was also attached closely to exploration and identification of potential new market opportunities that forms the fundamental of our business continuity. I reported directly to the Managing Director on all matters pertaining to general and specific ones that fall within the ambit of marketing and sales administration. I also supervised and coordinated the jobs of my relevant subordinates.


 

I was responsible for the following:-


 

Market survey, Proposing of Product & Pricing, Marketing Strategy, Promotional Activities e.g. exhibition, printing & distributing leaflets / brochures, installation of streamers & signboards.

 

Meeting with consultants, engineers, architects as well as contractors to discuss and to solve whatever problems that occur, as well as to fine-tune and improve the design and the building of the houses / apartments.

Property management of the apartments / condominiums built such as leasing, rental collections, attending owners/tenants’ complaints.

Preparation of documents, liaison with bankers & lawyers. Arranging financing for buyers.

Office administration inclusive up-keeping of purchasers’ files, preparation of statement of accounts, purchasers’ complaints, etc.

I in-charged of all matters pertaining to property development such as dealing with potential buyers as well as the existing owners; liaison with bankers & lawyers in order to arrange financing for the buyers; handling the buyers'/owners' complaints.
Besides, I also dealt with government authorities such as Building Department, Planning Department to make sure all the land/construction application was in order & approved accordingly.

 


 

5.) 1990 (July) - 1993 (July)
Sanyo Sales & Service Sdn Bhd
Designation: Workshop Supervisor

 

I was responsible to provide customer services inclusive telephone inquiries, customers’ complaints, dealers-coordination., inventory checking, promotional activities, preparation of documents, etc.
I also made sure all the audio/video, household appliances that were sent into the workshop for repair being attended & repaired accordingly. I made sure the parts were always in stock for repairing / sales to dealers or customers.



 

6.) 1989 (May) - 1990 (June)
Imprimis Technology-Components (M) Sdn Bhd
Designation: Production Supervisor

 

I supervised the production line activities to make sure everything was in order and to ensure the line achieved the daily production target. I reported to my supervisor & engineers when there were problems in the production lines such as too many defective products during the shift, shortage of the product ingredients, etc.
I also attended daily meetings with other department representatives to discuss whatever problems that occurred. Daily report-writing.
