This job was extremely exciting. I enjoyed it so much, unfortunately my employment ended sooner than I had hoped. I started working at Harrah's before the casino building opened. I was actually working out of a tent casino until the building was completely finished. Unfortunately, I was in a motorcycle accident (leg injury) that impaired me from standing behind a blackjack table for approx. 2 hours at a time. I was given other small jobs in the casino to compensate, but there was not enough work. I received a very nice recommendation letter for my next place of employment. Job Description: 1. Had to pass six week dealer school training course 2. Had to pass drug test and background check 3. Had to be bonded 4. Had to have good communication skills 5. Had to handle intense situations calmly and professionally 6. Had to have flexible hours due to the facility just opening |
