Customer Service Manager

Manage the order entry, monitoring of shipments, traffic requirements and invoicing of all domestic orders input from major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Sport Chalet, Dicks Sporting Goods, Amazon.com etc. Also all order entry for the smaller Mom and Pop shops as well. Manage the company consumer website and process all orders on a daily basis. Take all calls for the consumer website regarding product questions, warranty issues and order status. Work closely with the Sr VP of Sales and Marketing and all Sales Reps to assist with all sales reports, Vendor/Customer set ups, EDI set ups and item maintenance for various customers.

Office Administration Manager

Manage the day to day business of the office, A/R & A/P, Human Resources and Payroll.

Contract with architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors, electricians and all necessary vendors/personnel from start to completion of homes. Go to City or County Offices for all necessary permits and fees when needed. Work closely with Sales and Marketing personnel to ensure that the homes will be sold prior to completion of installation and that financing is in place for the clients. Design and maintain website for both companies. Manage all accounting aspects of the projects to ensure profitability.

Customer Service Coordinator
Managed consolidation projects for interior design industry, Hotels and high-end clientele. Issue pick up and delivery requests for furnishings per clients request. Keep track of received inventory of all clients’ items, such as GC items, furniture and accessories while consolidating. Send inventory reports to clients on a weekly basis. When property is ready for move in – make arrangements for installation at homes or hotels. Worked on Marriott Residence Inn renovation projects in Oxnard and Sacramento, ensuring that the Superintendent on the jobsite had all that is needed in regards to GC items and AAA Lead person has all furnishings needed to enable them to turn over the rooms to the Hotels for customer usage. Also several projects for 15 – 20,000 square foot homes in Beverly Park area of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Montecito and a project that has 40’ containers going to France. Assist with the submission of quotes for the projects, process the invoicing and collections if needed in regards to my clients.

08/02 – 10/04 Nakajima USA, Inc. Los Angeles, CA.
Customer Service Manager
Developed and manage the Customer Service Department for a newly opened office in the USA of a Japanese parent company. Implemented department procedures working closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to assist with achieving the company sales goals. Maintaining inventory in the Los Angeles warehouse to ensure availability of product and timely delivery to our customers. Work with Mass accounts such as Target, Toys R US, Mervyns, Wal-Mart and Walgreen’s processing their “FOB China” orders and placing the factory Pos for the products that were ordered. Also dealing with Specialty customers such as Claires, Spencer Gifts, Scholastics and many more “mom and pop” gift shops. Responsible for order entry, processing orders to the warehouse for shipment, invoicing, issuing of RMA’s and issuing of credit memos/charge backs when necessary. Maintenance of customer files in system and hard copy. Responsible for all New Vendor Set Up forms from new customers to be completed and the EDI implementation on any new accounts. Process all EDI PO’s, PO Changes, ASN’s, Invoices and POS reports. Process credit reference checks on new accounts and review age receivables for collection purposes. Also maintain UPC codes and set up new item product numbers in the system. Send out product samples as requested by sales staff and representatives. Assist Director of Finance with month end and year-end closing, adjusting inventory and or unit pricing discrepancies to enable the closing of the books.

09/98 – 09/01 Parana Supplies Corp. Torrance, CA.
Sales Administrator
Managed the customer service department with an emphasis on customer service programs, order assistance and problem resolution. Manage customer orders, discrepancies, invoices, credits and product returns. Responsibilities included daily and monthly sales analysis; administration of co-op advertising and market development funds; monthly tracking and reporting of sales commissions; accounting troubleshooting for resolution of customer payment issues. Interface daily with company executives, directors and management and was liaison between key manufacturing staff of Parana Supplies Corp. and corporate executives. During the last twelve months of employment, with the closure of the company, performed all clerical functions and AP for the President and the Controller. HVAC Product Coordinator (04/97 to 09/98)
Assisted Regional Sales Managers with quoting customers on Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems. Provided technical support to Distributors and Representatives, and OEM house accounts. Interfaced with the advertising department with keeping all sales literature current and in print and also updated all price sheets that were sent out to the customers, assisted with new product releases to the field.

Order Administrator (06/95 to 04/97)
Input all orders for the Engine and Railroad divisions. Maintained blanket purchase orders for major customers such as Union Pacific Railroad, Boise Locomotive, and Freightliner Custom Chassis. Handled all customer complaints for the division. Issued return authorizations and input replacement orders. Issued credit and debit memos when necessary due to short shipments, wrong pricing or wrong product shipped.
