Sales
Carpet One (Salt Lake City)

Moving in to a brand new city, I was an inside sales person that was not happy just waiting for customers to walk in. I built my own clientel to add to my walk in showroom customers, which also grew through word of mouth as I always want my custmoers happy. During my off time I was out putting out flyers, knocking on doors and stopping by jobsites. During work hours, I was telephone marketing to builders, decorators, contractors, ect.

  • Within the first three months of moving and working in a brand new city for a new company, I made the top 7 out of 50 sales people. ,(Private Sales Invite) With seven showrooms within the company, each showroom would have a private sale one out of seven months. Through rotation, the sales people of the showroom having the sale and the top two from the last private sale would work the sale. When I started, (the private sale happened to be at our showroom my first month) I never missed another private sale. I was always in the top two sales of the night and got the invite to the next.
