Office Manager
National Appraisal & Adjustment Service
As the office manager, I was responsible for overseeing the dispatchers and field appraisers and adjusters. I also handled customer problems with claims related issues. I was often the mediator between auto repair shops and insurance inside adjusters and their customers. I solved different problems every day that would come up, and would solve them clear headed and come up with reasonable solutions.
- I started out at National Appraisal as a dispatcher. I was responsible for calling customers for the insurance companies and setting up appointments for our appraisers and adjusters to go out and inspect their damaged autos and property. This part of the job introduced me to customer service. I needed to micro manage my area (the state of NJ) , my appraisers and the customers. I was then promoted to the office manager, where I did this on a much larger scale. I was then responsible for the states of NJ, PA, DE, & MD. I would solve problems on a daily basis, whether the problem be an unhappy insured, or a body shop that was taking too long on repairs, as well as internal office issues.
