Upload Your Resume
With ResumeBucket, uploading your existing resume is simple! We can convert resumes that are formatted in Microsoft Word, Rich Text Format (RTF), or plain text into a simple, web-based resume that you can easily share with friends, colleagues, and prospective employers. Uploading your resume is completely free and takes less than a minute, and you choose a custom URL to make it easy to share your resume with others. And if you don't already have a resume, our resume builder makes it quick and easy to create one from scratch. To begin the process, visit our sign-up page where you can create your account and upload your resume on one simple form.
Your Personal MyBucket Page
Once you create your account and upload your resume you are directed to your MyBucket dashboard. From here, you can edit your resume and create multiple versions to share with different audiences. In addition, you can manage communication with other ResumeBucket users via the Message Center, view metrics for your resume (including the number of times it has been viewed), update your personal information that appears on your public resume page, toggle security options and use our Promote Yourself! badges to add your resume link to your email signature, blog or web site.
Your Personal, Public Resume
When employers visit your public URL they are presented with your full resume, as well as other features and information that are pertinent to the hiring process. Visitors can download your resume as a PDF or Microsoft Word document, share your resume on many different social networking sites, and contact you directly through ResumeBucket. You can also share links to other social profiles such as LinkedIn and Twitter. In the MyBucket page, you can also upload a photograph that appears on your public resume, and you can update your status that appears in the brower's title bar.
